Jakub Šmíd graduated with honours in software engineering from the University of West Bohemia. He is currently pursuing his PhD at the same institution. His specialization lies in natural language processing, with a keen emphasis on aspect-based and cross-lingual sentiment analysis. In addition, he is interested in optimizing neural networks for practical applications with limited computational resources.
